Making Workshops Work: Teacher-Facilitated Small Group Workshops

This demo discusses the elements of good feedback and presents two linked strategies for fostering generative peer responses from students: workshop letters and teacher-facilitated small group workshops.æ The demo includes an interactive readers' theatre of student and scholarly perspectives on peer review, as well as an opportunity for participants to write workshop letters for each other and try teacher and student roles in small group workshops.æ
